ISTQB® conducts Public Exams periodically which are open to the public, scheduled and announced early every year. Post-training Exams and Group Exams are conducted on request by accredited training providers and/or groups, companies and organizations
The minimum number for a Group Exam to be run is 20 or more (CTFL 20, CTAL 10).
Organizations (companies, institutions and schools etc.) who wish to take any of KSTQB/ISTQB® exams should contact KSTQB after securing the number of candidates and exam venue to be checked
Student concession (20%) applies for full-time students
For Post-training Exams or Group Exams, only applicants who have participated in the training or candidates who work for the group can take the exams
The exam recruitment and announcement is made through the STEN (Software Testing Engineering Network www.sten.or.kr) community, which is a network of local SW test professionals. To register for an exam, you must first register on the STEN homepage so your essential information can be recorded for your certification process
When you register for an exam on STEN website, it is crucial that the English name (passport name) and Date of Birth should be exactly typed in the personal information boxes as the information will be shown in your certificates as they are. Please note that most of the examinations conducted by KSTQB are for international certifications and therefore, cannot be recognized if any of personal information is incorrect in the certificates
Training is not required for all exams conducted by KSTQB. However, in order to increase the pass rate, KSTQB recommends taking proper trainings of the exam module you wish to acquire
Students who are enrolled in KSTQB accredited training courses are given a concession
