Exam Details
  • Type: Written test – 40 MC* questions (* MC: Multiple Choice Questions)
  • 1 point per question
  • Duration: Korean 60 mins / English 75 mins (60 mins + extra 25% for non-native speakers)
  • Passing Criteria: 65% or more

Refund regulation:
Within the period of reception : 100% refund
Reception closing~The day before the examination : 50% refund

General Information
SW has become an essential part in the automotive field where the weight and importance of SW is rapidly increasing. It is the only SW testing certification in the Automotive field which covers ISO 26262 standards relating to mobile functional safety testing as well as the contents of SIL and HIL etc. In Germany, this certification has been already widely available.
It allows participants to understand and apply automotive testing techniques and practices to basic SW testing knowledge and experience and achieve the following benefits:
Able to work efficiently in an Automotive test team
Well-known test techniques of ISTQB® Foundation Level can be appropriately appdded to Automotive specific environments
Appropriate testing techniques can be selected in the Automotive context, taking into account the basic requirements of relevant standards and norms such as Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262
Enable to support test teams by applying risk-based planning of structural elements and test activities
Able to apply virtual test techniques (HiL, SiL and MiL etc.) in the Automotive- specific environments

Public Exam: Korean/English 5 times per year  
Post-training Exam: For those who get trainings from KSTQB Accredited Training Providers (ATP)
Special Exam: Conducted by special requests
