Target Audiences The CTFL Mobile Application Testing qualification is aimed at people who have already achieved a Foundation point in their careers in software testing and wish to develop further their expertise in Mobile Application Testing.

  • Type: Written test – 40 MC* questions (* MC: Multiple Choice Questions)
  • 1 point per question
  • Duration: Korean 60 mins / English 75 mins (60 mins + extra 25% for non-native speakers)
  • Passing Criteria: 65% or more

Within the period of reception : 100% refund
Reception closing~The day before the examination : 50% refund

General Information
Introduction :
Due to a growing number of different mobile devices in a variety of shapes and sizes entering the market, the scenarios to be considered throughout the mobile testing process are also diversifying and increasing in importance.
ISTQB® CTFL-MAT syllabus covers extensive contents on mobile application testing, from test architectures and types related to mobile applications to test processes, platforms/tools/environments, automation methods, and related risks & test execution, so that the audience can be well equipped to deal with various mobile application related scenarios.
Expected Outcome:
Understand and review business and technology drivers for mobile apps in order to create a test strategy
Identify and understand the key challenges, risks and expectations associated with testing a mobile application
Apply test types and levels specific to mobile applications
Apply common test types, such as those mentioned in ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level syllabus 2018, in the mobile specific context
Carry out the activities required specifically for mobile application testing as part of the main activities of the ISTQB® test process
Identify and use suitable environments and appropriate tools for mobile application testing
Understand methods and tools specifically to support mobile application test automation
Exam Types:
Public Exam: English 2 times per year(language: Korean / English)  
Post-training Exam: For those who get trainings from KSTQB Accredited Training Providers (ATP)
Group Exam: Conducted by requests from companies/organizations (Available for a group of more than 20 participants)
Special Exam: Conducted by special requests
